Each year, the SBD
Fellowship Program awards ten (10) $1,000
fellowships to qualifying members for use in
their academic studies. Each local chapter is
encouraged to nominate one qualifying SBD member
for the awards (and only one nomination per
chapter). Recipients of the fellowships must use
them for senior or master's level study in a
business degree program at a regionally
accredited college or university.
Who is Eligible to
Compete for the SBD Fellowships?
Any SBD member or student
who will be invited to become a member during the
present academic year and will be enrolled in a
business degree program at a regionally
accredited college or university during the
academic year following the announcement is
eligible to compete in the SBD Fellowship
Program. The recipient must use the
fellowship in senior or master's level study.
How do local chapters
select their nominee?
Local chapters may set their own procedures
for selecting their nominee. However, Sigma
Beta Delta requires each chapter to use the
standard criteria for the Fellowship Program,
including the Fellowship Application Form, and
the Fellowship Recommendation Form. Local Chapter
Officers may download the application form by
